Tiki is now CH. Horizon’s Just A Rumor. She finished her championship at 11 months of age with back to back majors and a variety win at the St. Cloud Shows at the beginning of December. Congratulations to Co-owners Tim Glavan and Kim Pierotti!

Multiple BIS/BISS GCH. Amity Mystical Horizon’s Heaven Sent, KAILI, announces the arrival of her new litter out of CH. Sonora’s Gun Runner, GUNNER. 3 Platinum boys have arrived on July 26th, 2012. At 4 weeks they are showing their outgoing personalities and there amazing developing brains!! They are going to be stunning boys and we hope to be posting wins for them in about 6 months!!

Horizon’s Just A Rumor, Tiki, Kaili’s Baby out of BISS GCH. Alegria’s Independent Declaration, went Winners bitch at 8 months of age for her first 2 points. This little girl is a little powerhouse and shows at the end of her lead just like her momma did. Add a bit more hair and I think she will be unstoppable! Congrats to her co-owners Tim Glavan (where Tiki resides most of the time) of Virginia, MN, and Kim Pierotti of Painted Post, NY. This is just the beginning for this special girl.

Horizon’s I’m Just a Rock Star, Eddie, is Kaili’s Blue boy out of CH. Amity Mystical triple Threat. He received his second major before he turned 8 months of age! His first major came his first weekend out. He went Winners dog and Best of Opposite over a special for a 4pt major at 6 months and 2 days of age. His second major was a best of Variety Win over all adults! We are very proud of this blue boy. Congrats to his co-owner Jane Smythe. He is the best of both parents and has a bright future ahead of him.

We welcomed Kaili’s first litter on 12/19/2011. She had 3 boys and 1 girl. All are doing well and we hope to see her kids in the ring in June!

Zinnia and Trey are the proud parents of 3 healthy, happy, and very fat babies. Born october 18th, we had 2 boys and 1 girl. Suprisinglly we have at least 1 blue boy!! Zinnia is a terrific mother and loved every minute with her kids. We are still taking inquires for show or companion. I will do evaluations at 8 weeks to determine who will be staying with our family and who will be looking for their forever homes. Pictures will be posted soon!

Ch. Amity Mystical Triple Threat has (Trey) of Acina poodles has been bred to CH. Refinne White Zinfandel (zinnia) who is on lease to Horizon poodles from Jennifer Dege Od refinne Poodles. Puppies are expected in Mid October, and all should be black.

KAILI MAKES IT INTO MARTHA STEWART LIVING!!

While Kaili was being groomed for judging at the Westminster show this past February, Jennifer Dege was approached by a gentleman who was setting up a photo shoot for later that evening. When he gave Jennifer his card she was going to let it go until she flipped the card over to find that the photo shoot was for the magazine “Martha Stewart Living”. They were doing a special “pets’ section but were not aware when it was going to be published. After benching was released at Westminster at 8pm, I took Kaili up to the photo shoot where she was one of only 75 dogs who were asked and of those only about 20 were published in the November issue. She was not the only poodle photographed that day, but it was soon apparent in the shoot that the photographer lover her and where it should have been a 10 minute shoot soon became 30 minutes!!! She ended up being the only poodle published! I got to view several of the photos and some of them were very nice, unfortunately, not being poodle people, they don’t know what were would go GAGA over. The one used in the magazine was not my pick but the fact remains that she is in a world renowned magazine. Check her out in the November 2010 issue. She is in the index on page 3 and on page 19. Click on ‘pets’, then click on ‘video’ and on the left hand side down on the page you will see ‘best in show’ click on that and you will see the video. There is also a still of the photo used.
